Privacy policy & data protection

Understand how Bab Rizq Jameel uses your information throughout registration, verification, training and recruitment for Hajj transport opportunities.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ) operates this recruitment platform and determines how personal data is used to manage its recruitment activities. This notice applies to applicants, company representatives and BRJ administrators using babrizqjameel.com.

You can contact BRJ at info@brj.com.sa or at Prince Majed Street, Al Safa District, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, P.O. Box 248, postal code 21411. A transportation company may have its own responsibilities and privacy notice for interviews, employment and records it holds outside this platform.

2. Information we collect

We receive information directly from you and from authorized BRJ staff and the company handling your application. If a supporting organization refers you, its name and relevant referral details may also be recorded.

  • Registration and identity: name, mobile number, age, nationality, National ID or Iqama number, and city of residence.
  • Qualifications and preferences: education, driving-license category and verification details, training needs and progress, current employment, preferred role and permanent or seasonal work preferences.
  • Recruitment records: application number, referral source, declarations and consent, verification results, assignments, interview and selection decisions, rejection reasons and who made the decision, staff notes, contract type, contract date, joining date and seasonal history.
  • Account and service information: company or administrator account details, protected sign-in credentials, verification and session records, language preference, and technical information used for security and troubleshooting, such as request times and network information.
  • Communication preferences: the optional marketing channels you select. Only provide information needed for recruitment; do not place unrelated medical, religious or other sensitive details in free-text fields.

3. Why we use your information

We use your information to verify mobile access, create and manage your account, assess your application, check identity and license information, arrange qualification training, assign eligible candidates to companies, and record interviews, decisions and employment. We also use recruitment records for applicant updates, future-season matching, recruitment reporting, security and service support.

Where consent is requested, we rely on the consent you give for the stated purpose. Other processing may be necessary to meet applicable legal obligations or to manage a contract where relevant. This notice is not a blanket consent to unrelated uses. Required fields are identified in the form; without essential information, we may be unable to verify or process your application.

Marketing choices are optional and separate from recruitment. You can withdraw marketing consent without changing the outcome of your application. Recruitment decisions are made by authorized BRJ and company staff; system filters and pathway suggestions support their review.

4. Who can access or receive your information?

  • Authorized BRJ staff review applications, verify information, manage training and company assignments, and oversee recruitment records.
  • The transportation company assigned to your application can access the relevant candidate information and record its recruitment decisions and employment details. Companies are not given access to every applicant in the platform.
  • Service providers support hosting, storage, backups, security and communications. Unifonic and mobile-network providers process the mobile number and verification information needed to deliver and check SMS codes.
  • Relevant training or recruitment partners may receive information needed to support your opportunity. Public authorities may receive information where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law. BRJ limits sharing to the relevant purpose and recipient.

5. Data protection and processing location

Platform data is stored and processed outside Saudi Arabia. Service providers involved in hosting and communications may also process information across borders. Such processing is subject to applicable Saudi personal-data-protection and transfer requirements. Contact BRJ for details about the processing relevant to your information.

The platform uses encrypted connections, encrypted database storage and backups, restricted database access, account permissions and operational monitoring. Drivers access their own records; companies access assigned candidates; BRJ administrators have broader access for managing recruitment.

Access controls and backups reduce risk, but no online service can promise absolute security. Keep your sign-in details and SMS codes private, use a trusted device, and sign out after using a shared device. Report suspected unauthorized access to BRJ.

6. Retention and deletion

Application and employment records are retained for the recruitment purposes described here, including relevant future Hajj seasons, and for applicable legal or contractual requirements. A seasonal contract ending does not automatically delete the candidate record. Retention depends on the record, the continuing recruitment purpose and any required retention period; this notice does not set a fixed number of years.

When personal data is no longer needed and no applicable requirement justifies keeping it, it should be deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Requests for correction or deletion are reviewed by BRJ; submitting a request does not automatically erase recruitment records. BRJ can explain any applicable exception or continuing need.

Expired sign-in sessions, verification challenges and rate-limit records are periodically removed. Deleted information may remain in protected backup or recovery copies until those copies expire or are removed under the applicable retention process. These copies are restricted and used for recovery rather than routine recruitment.

7. Your rights and how to request them

Subject to the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its applicable exceptions, you may request information about processing, access to your personal data, a readable copy, correction or completion, or destruction of data that no longer needs to be retained. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent; withdrawal does not invalidate processing already carried out lawfully.

Email info@brj.com.sa and describe your request, including your application number if available. BRJ may verify your identity through an appropriate secure method before acting. Do not include your National ID, Iqama document, password or verification code in an initial email. Requests are handled within the periods required by applicable law, with an explanation if an exception applies.

If withdrawal or deletion removes information needed to assess your application, BRJ may be unable to continue that recruitment activity. You may also raise a personal-data-protection complaint with the competent authority through its official channels.

8. Cookies and local storage

This platform uses an essential sign-in cookie to maintain your session and stores your language preference in your browser. Security and verification records help prevent abuse. The recruitment platform does not currently include advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.

You can manage cookies and local storage in your browser. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in; clearing saved preferences resets your language choice. Optional marketing preferences in the application are separate from these essential browser features.

9. Policy updates and other websites

This notice may be updated when the service or its processing changes. The latest version and update date appear on this page. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, that must be provided before the relevant processing.

Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ privacy notices. This platform notice explains the recruitment service; BRJ’s corporate privacy policy provides additional information about its wider activities.

Your information. Your rights.

For questions, corrections, a copy of your data, or a deletion request, contact BRJ. Please do not send passwords, SMS codes or a copy of your identity document by email.
